Lodge Goals 2010

o Achieve quality lodge

q  Review progress against checklist at every LEC.

q  Chief assigns requirement based job to chairman/officer who develops, maintains, and reports on achievement to LEC.

o Establish strong ceremony teams in each chapter.

q  Chapter Vice Chief of Ceremonies makes Chapter Ceremony Team.

q  Good comments about ceremony

q  VCC shows rosters to LEC.

o Improve communications by using mail, personal invitation, troop OA rep, and e-mail to reach every member.

q  Increase of participation by 27%

q  Time management by back dating to publish OA literature

q  Publish 5 lodge newsletters.

q  Database 95% accurate (e-mail).

q  Lodge Chief calls Chapter Chiefs once a month.

q  Improve minute retention

q  Establish a lodge phone tree or officer phone tree.

q  Each chapter has a monthly chapter notification.

q  Have 8 LEC meetings in a year.

o Establish a working NIMAT program/ Increase member retention.

q  Chapters assign NIMAT chairman

q  NIMAT Books ready at end or Ordeal

q  NIMAT Training

q  Develop an admin checklist

q  30% of NIMATs receive the Nimat Award at the banquet.

q  Introduce and establish methods to retain new arrow men.

o Provide service to Camp, Council and Community.

q  Establish a working trail development committee.

q  To publish a plan by Fall Ordeal.

q  The lodge one day chairman announces the project at Fall Ordeal.

o Prepare for 2011 Conclave

q  All officers attend WLR

q  All officers and OA reps. attend 2010 Conclave!!

q  Establish the commttees needed to run Conclave 

q  Promote Promote Promote! This will be measured by having at least 40 members at conclave

The Flint River Council

Ini-To Lodge is composed of Order of the Arrow members who are registered

Scouts and Scouters in the Flint River Council.

We are located in central Georgia with our council office in Griffin.
